it doesn't have cards. You use a USB cord and connect to your computer and you can use designs from the program or from almost any web site that sells designs or gives them away free. Works great. Buy the designs or get the free ones in the .XXX format and you will love it.

The Quartet SEQS 6000 does not take design cards, you connect directly to your computer. If you have design cards and you can read them with your computer you can use the design card with the Quartet SEQS 6000

Hello, if you have a card reader hooked up to your P.C. you can import your designs via the Futura software. Just save your designs from the card/card reader to folder that you have created onto your PC and then open the designs using the open design located the file drop down icon on the Futura software.

it wasn't "right out of the box", but soon after. I just sent my machine in to the repair center for this problem. Makes me suspicious that there may be a "recall" for this prob.

The SINGER Futura machines are not designed to embroider ball caps.

Don't know about pvc but I sewed leather (thinner) and vinyl using my Futura Quatro 4 in 1 with no problems. Just use the heavy needle.
